Dealership Services provides service to various Dealers
and their customers. In the course of doing business the Customer Care
Center Representative of Dealership Services have access to personal
information.
NOW THEREFORE; All persons will treat non-public
personnel information (“Customer Information”), As defined in 16
C.F.R.&3114.2 (b),as confidential and agree to not disclose or use,
or cause to be disclosed or cause to be used Customer Information other
than as authorized and necessary to carry out the purpose and tasks as
assigned by Dealership Services.
All persons shall
implement and maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to
guard Customer Information and protect that information from
unauthorized access, use, misuse, process, alteration, disclosure,
erasure, manipulation, and destruction. Safeguards and precautions shall
include
Appropriate procedures designed to 1) protect the
security and confidentiality of Customer Information, 2) protect against
anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of Customer
Information, and 3) Protect against unauthorized access or use of
Customer Information that could result in substantial harm or
inconvenience to any customer. Such safeguards and precautions shall at a
minimum comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Upon
reasonable request information will be provided to Dealership Services,
including inspection privileges, as to the handling of Customer
Information and where and how it is stored. Any security breach or
suspicion of any compromise to Customer Information, whether or not such
compromise is determined or suspected of being malicious, shall be
reported to Dealership Services immediately.
